Travelers, it’s the perfect time to get your Schengen visa ! The EU has approved the amendment to raise the Schengen visa fees by the end of this year. Apply now & save the extra money! Unfortunately, travelers who wish to get their short term Schengen visa after January 2020 will have to pay higher Schengen visa cost . The amendments on the Schengen visa prices were approved by the European Union on 6 th June, 2019. It will be published in the Official Journal of the EU by the end of this month. According to a press release, a rise of 33.3% has been decided by the EU Council. It will come into force from January 2020 for all third – country nationals, who wishes to visit the countries of Schengen zone. 12 th June, 2019, Wednesday – A proud day for India! Defence news unveiled that hypersonic cruise missile was initially launched off the coast of Odisha, India. It was expected to help Defence Research and Development Organisation with the futuristic applications and aerial system. Unfortunately, it failed! On Monday i.e. 10 th June, 2019, this Indian missile was test launched in the presence of Defence Minister – Rajnath Singh and Secretary (Defence Production) – Ajay Kumar. It was launched by using Agni 1 missile platform, which has to take it to the predetermined altitude. Unfortunately, the test launch failed! Though the hypersonic cruise missile successfully took off from the range, the test couldn’t be complete. The Agni 1 failed to reach the expected altitude. Here comes gruesome Kurunegala Hospital Sterilization Fiasco tragedy. ‘Women sterilizing without consent is a Crime on its own.’ Dr. Siyabdeen Mohammed Safi, a 42-years old surgeon was accused for this evil deed. The medical sterilization was performed on around 4000 women without their consent or knowledge. 51 women lodged complaint against him on Monday, i.e. 27 th May at Kurunegala Teaching Hospital (KTH).
